Aggressive sparrows attack apple pie

On our visit of the beautiful town of Marken in Noord Holland today we sat down outside at café ‘De Visscher’ and we each ordered a hot chocolate and a piece of apple pie. The weather was beautiful and we had a great view of the harbor. Here is Amy in her FBI shirt, still unaware of the invasion that would soon follow.
After a minute a sparrow appeared on our table.
And soon after that more appeared, until there were dozens.
Before we knew it our apple pie was almost gone!
What we wanted to eat ourselves they stole out of our hands.
The sparrows were all over the table and licked the plates clean.
When it was all gone the sparrows asked us to order more pie. We refused, so they moved on to the table next to us where they attacked a plate of poffertjes.
