From 5 to 15 January 2007 we were in The Gambia where we did a five-day birdwatching safari upriver to Georgetown and saw 177 different species of birds. We also visited Bijilo, Abuko and Tanji Nature Reserves. |

From 12 to 21 October 2006 we stayed at Key Largo in Florida and made several dives and visited the keys and Everglades National Park. We saw many alligators, birds, sharks, rays, deer and manatees. |

From 25 to 27 August 2006 we visited Madrid in Spain, to celebrate Arthur's 30th birthday. We visited the Palacio Real, Museo del Prado, Plaza Mayor, El Rastro and some very nice parks. |

From 3 to 22 March 2006 we traveled around Rajasthan in India. We saw the Taj Mahal in Agra, bicycled around Keoladeo NP at Bharatpur, saw tigers at Ranthambore NP, played Holi in Jaipur and saw many forts and palaces. |

In December 2005 we went to Amy's parents in Deerfield for Christmas and New Year's. We went to Woodstock, Chicago, Berwyn and Illinois Beach State Park. |

From 18 to 20 November 2005 we went London with Easyjet, Easybus and Easyhotel. We saw Ewan McGregor in Guys and Dolls, and visited the British Museum and Natural History Museum. |

From 12 to 16 October 2005 we went to Paris for our fifth wedding anniversary. First we stayed a night at the Sequoia Lodge at Disneyland Paris. Then we moved to Paris where we visited the Louvre and went to the top of the Eiffel Tower. The weather was beautiful. |

From 17 to 24 September we went to Hurghada in Egypt to dive. We made two dives a day for five days with Colona Divers and saw giant morays, a sea turtle, stingrays and millions of colorful reef fish and corals. |

From 17 to 22 June we went to Naples, Italy. We visited the Campi Flegra area and the ruins of Pompeii, went to the top of the Vesuvius and around the island of Capri, swam in the Blue Grotto and saw lots of castles, churches and museums. |

From 30 April to 6 May we stayed at the Port Orleans Riverside resort at Walt Disney World in Florida. We visited the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM-Studios, Animal Kingdom, DisneyQuest, Downtown Disney and Typhoon Lagoon. |

From 21 to 29 April we made a roadtrip through Florida with Amy's parents. We swam with dolphins, canoed in the Everglades, snorkeled the coral reef and saw lots of alligators. We also visited Key West, Sanibel Island, two national parks and NASA Kennedy Space Center. |

From 1 to 14 September we made a road trip with Amy's parents to Colorado, where visited National Parks, saw magnificent mountains and lots of elk. |

From 16 to 19 July we went to Rome. We visited the Vatican, Appian Way, and many beautiful churches, piazze, and fountains. |

The first weekend of May in 2004 we went to London for a few days to see Gillian Anderson in the West End. We also visited the National Gallery, British Museum and did a lot of walking around, sightseeing and shopping. |

From 3 to 17 April 2004 we traveled to Tunisia. We visited medinas, mosques, Roman monuments, famous movie locations, breathtaking canyons and sandy beaches, and much more. |

From 10 to 27 December we visited Amy's parents, Ramon and Mary, in Deerfield for Christmas. For the first time we brought Arthur's parents Ben and Ineke and brother Patrick. We visited Chicago, went up Sears tower and saw a Bulls game. |

On Saturday 25 October we visited Disneyland Paris for the day. We had checked into a hotel nearby the night before and visited the Disney Village. |

From 12 to 21 September we went to Finland. We visited our friends Marco and Regina in Oulu, took the train up north to Rovaniemi where we crossed the Artic Circle and south to Helsinki and made a day-trip to Tallinn in Estonia |

From 29/5 to 1/6 we went to Normandy in France. We saw Mont St. Michel, a German and US cemetery, Pirou castle, Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc, the Bayeaux tapestry, the Caen Memorial Museum for Peace and the beautiful coast at Etretat. |

From 18 April to 2 May 2003 we went to Egypt and visited Cairo, Aswan, Abu Simbel, Luxor and El Minya. We saw many ancient Egyptian temples, pyramids and tombs. |

Arthur was in Boston for work from April 1st until April 6th and spent a few days exploring the city. He saw Fenway Park, Harvard, MIT, Museum of Science, lots of malls, Beacon Hill, Boston Common, Boston Tea Party Ship and more. |

From 31 January until 3 February we went to Dublin in Ireland with a free Ryanair flight out of Charleroi airport. We saw Christchurch Cathedral, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Guinness Brewery, Tara Hill, Newgrange, Bewley's, Book of Kells at Trinity College, GPO and more. |

From 9 till 12 January 2003 we spent 4 days in London. The reason for this trip was to see Gillian Anderson in the play What The Night Is For. We also met her backstage. We also visited Westminster Abbey, the British Museum and London Tower. |

In October 2002 we took the Thalys train to Paris, where we spent 2 days in Disneyland Paris and 2 days in regular Paris. The reason for this trip was to visit the newly opened Walt Disney Studios. In Paris we visited the Conciergerie, Saint Chapelle and Rodin Museum. We also did a lot of shopping. |

From 17 to 24 May 2002 we stayed in Molyvos on the island of Lesbos in Greece. We did a day trip to Ayvelik in Turkey by boat and explored the island by car and scooter. |

On 29 and 30 March 2002 we went to Trier in Germany, where we saw the Porta Nigra, roman baths, Landesmuseum, Amphitheater, Cathredral, Basilica and Electoral Palace. |

From Friday 22 March 2002 until Sunday we took a DFDS Seaways trip to Newcastle in the United Kingdom. We spent more time on the boat then in Newcastle, but we had fun. We saw the Discovery Museum, Museum of Antiqitues and more. |

In February of 2002 we went to Norway for five days. The reason for this trip was to go to Evenstad, the place where Amy's ancestors came from. The first two days we drove up north to go to Evenstad. The last three days we spent in Oslo. |
